Lancashire Birding
Spent yesterday at Ainsdale, Birkdale and Marshside. At least 55 Twite at Birkdale, and I also heard what I'm fairly certain was Lapland Bunting, but it's a while since I last heard one so I won't be counting it. Just got back from watching the Ring-neck Duck at Preesall, and the Snow Geese at Aldcliffe. The duck was a really nice looking male. Unfortunately it was very dull and windy, so my camera had no chance of getting anything more than a record shot. It wasn't much brighter when we saw the geese...- ColinD
