    I spent a lot of time In Radernie/Peat Inn area near Cameron Loch. (My Grandad drained the land for It to be built) In all my time and visits to the area,It was always referred to by locals as Cameron Loch.

    Spent a lot of time around Cameron,when I was a young lad.My late Dad's family came from nearbye Radernie.In fact,my Grandfather (a drainer) drained all the land,so the Reservoir could be built.Remember seeing my first Barn Owl there In the early 70s.

    Good birds there Gander. Have you ever visited Cameron Reservoir near St Andrews ? My late Grandfather drained all the land around there for It built.I used to visit In the late 1960s/early 70's and It always held a good numbers of birds then but I never see any reports from there.

    May be worth bringing this up with the SWT In Montrose or at the HQ'S. What happened to the birds welfare always comes first ? Poor show from SWT if this Is the case.

    Sadly,It does not surprise me.Not all but a lot of photographers can't get close enough,despite having great equipment and ways of cropping their shots to their satisfaction and It's certainly not fair on people coming In the hope of seeing the bird In question. :C

    Hi Keith.I do'nt know If there shall still be a bird or two there In March but White tailed Eagle are being seen quite regularly at Insch Marshes RSPB Reserve just now,which Is very close to Kingussie.

    What time was that Rob ? I was there for 9am.Wish I had stayed around now.Then again,If I did,I would possibly have missed the Cranes.The frustration grows..!
