No we didn't go Delia as the hides are closed. What a coincidence about Magpies as I had one in my garden on Sunday! We have a pair that live locally and I actually quite like seeing them as they only started becoming more common here in the last 5 years or so.

I'm planning on visiting Kinnordy on Wednesday I take it it's open? Don't want to travel all that way to find it closed. This will be my first trip out of the house (aside from going to work) since February so a tad nervous what with Covid but have not been birdwatching for ages and miss Kinnordy.

Hi kawwauser I disagree with you Andrew sorry I think the warbler is a Lesser Whitethroat. I can't put my finger on it but it just looks more like a Lesser than a Common. I could be wrong though! ;)

Big conifer tree down blocking the path to the Swamp Hide after the stormy weather on Saturday night. We ended up going to Balgavies Loch...

Has anyone been to Morton Lochs or Tentsmuir lately? Is the minor road leading to the car park at Morton still as bad as it has been? Might be going there on Saturday and just wanted to know what state the road's in. Thanks.

Hi kawwauser (sorry don't know your real name). The caterpillar is a Garden Tiger moth caterpillar which I have always wanted to see. I love your photos ;)
