    In sight of the influx of awesome birds into the forth following the storm, I tried my luck at Carlingnose point at N. Queensferry. No Leach's petrels but lots of Skuas including 3 adult pale morph Pomarines.

    Probably the same iceland gull this afternoon in ploughed field next to Pandamaran with a load of other gulls, plus around 20 sand martin and a swallow at forfar loch.

    6 Bewicks swans today at loch leven, 4 adults, 2 juveniles. A first for me and a nice surprise on such a gloomy day. In field with 100 whoopers, on west side of "the causeway" road near Scotlandwell.

    Went back to Vane farm today and was rewarded with some excellent views of the same Grasshopper warbler.
