    You might be right Alexander.. The white cigar on the back and the white line on the back of the wing fits also fine for that.. The place is indeed very muddy, so could be right..

    Yes, I'm sure that it's the same bird.. You can also see the white "cigar" on the back on both of them and the white line along the back of the wing.. I think it's a matter of the angle and maybe the light reflection.. I had the sun directly against me...

    I actually found some more pictures of what I initially thought was a Greenshank, when it flew up, but I see it's the same bird, and it doesn't look like a Greenshank to me.. Maybe I'm just wrong?... The white cigar on the back also doens't for Greenshank.. Should be open in bottom? Give me...

I have never seen a Greenshank with that bill shape before, and I have no idea if it can happen that bill can be "deform" like that... I have attached a picture more of...
