    Hi KOTW. My advice would be to save (if you're able to)until you can get both (with 2 young children I had to do the same). I have a Superzoom (not Nikon)and a scope.     Not very helpful I know but I was talking to a birder yesterday whilst waiting for the boat to Skomer, and he was expecting his within the next few days. Perhaps it shows that is becoming available though?
