    Thanks Butty. I found a single Weld (Reseda luteola), in the apology for a lawn, when I bought the place last year. This year another appeared in a different part.     This appeared a while ago, and has just got larger, at quite a rate of knots. My initial suspicion was possibly Rumex crispus (Curled dock), BUT I don't remember ever seeing a specimen as large, or with leaves that have such poorly defined curliness.
