    None this year though and that was a truly exceptional event for the reserve even though Bittern is a visitor most winters. Should get good views of Water Rail though.

    Common Crane at Martin Mere yday though. :eat: Martin Mere is mostly about spectacle. Especially at feeding time or when a Peregrine is putting everything up.
