    Mutevodia Iredale, 1956, Bds. New Guinea, II, p. 103 (type-Pachycephala dorsalis Ogilvie-Grant, 1911 (= Pachycephala monacha dorsalis)), was introduced as a subgenus of Pachycephala Vigors, 1825.
