    I have a confession to make about twite. I was showing a visiting birder from the US a few things in our lunch hour from work. He really wanted to see Twite and I said we had a slight chance of catching up with one at Parkgate. There was a flock of finches inland...directly into the sun...and...

    Iffy Ticks

    My iffiest tick was a stationary White-tailed Eagle on a distant hillside. It was pointed out to me by people who had seen it land. To be honest it could have been a rock or a soiled sheep. Its no longer on my list, nor the introduced ones. I await one off the sea on the east coast!
