    You may well be right it does look shorter! but when I say “upturned” I’m saying that to my eye the end of the bill is straight with the base on a slight incline.

    I’m wondering if both yellowlegs are Greater, on account of broader base to the slightly “upturned” bill which both appear to have, also the streaking on underparts is bold on both, should be more diffuse on Lesser? Cheers
