    I think you are struggling to understand... He referenced the Zeiss 8x25 only, not the SF or NL... there’s no way the 8x25 Zeiss “eats the 7x42 Leica for lunch.” No way. That’s what I referred to.

    I think you misunderstand, or we're having a language barrier moment. My statement is aimed at this statement by eronald: If a Zeiss 8x25 had finer resolution than the 7x42 Leica, then something is wrong with the 7x42 Leica. The 7x42 Leica is one of the finest binoculars on the market...

    Something is wrong with your 7x42's... a "normal" 7x42 will eat others lunch and dinner.

    I have never looked through the new Zeiss 8x32 SF (I did have an FL), so I can't compare the 8x32 UV to that. I have compared it to several 8x32 SV's over the years, and I prefer everything about the Leica over the Swarovski (except eye relief). But I also suffer from the overly flat field...
