    Nikon odd response to request

    Maybe, just possibly, the rationale for Nikon's decision is they don't want to send out freebies to hoarders and/or re-sellers. Selling those parts themselves (at a decent mark-up in order to keep things profitable) might be a better idea though - they ought to realize that folks won't...
