    However, mainly, it seemed to be finding vegetable matter & earwigs and feeding in leaf litter under oak canopies which as a result, were not frozen. All the best Paul

    An entertaining and confiding bird that is putting in an extended stay despite the conditions. It is finding food & in the first pic, it has found a noctuid moth caterpillar. All the best Paul
