    Sid your comments brought back memories of my boat trip on the Chobe - as you say, unforgettable, hanging just off the shore watching these great breeding herds of elephant drinking, bathing, splashing, playing, all the other animals coming down cautiously to the side, skimmers on the river...

    Wonderful report Jo, and the pictures! The ones that most remain in my mind are the lovely Carmine Beeater, the collared Palm thrush, the leopard (aaarrghhh I'm so envious!) and that stunning sunset, but I loved them all.
