SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

Hi Brock They are indeed the same binocular as far as I’ve been told. I’m slightly disappointed they didn’t stick with their trademark soft brown colour and add in a rustic leather harness.... now that would have been interesting. Not sure they’ve got the design right mind you. I would have...

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

I happen to think these things are sometimes less about chemistry or physics but just pure biology....something that feels right on the eye and brain but cannot always be explained or reasoned by normal scientific analysis. I guess that's what's makes us human!

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

Since much of my viewing with 10x is very much based around waders and raptors I’m still of the opinion that the Habicht 10x40’s wga would indeed suit my needs. Realistically I don’t see my requirements that much different from that of hunters as the objects in sight are viewed from distance. I...

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

Hi Tom Believe it or not I still haven’t made a decision which to some extent is quite unlike me. I think that like many things their perceived value has probably now increased as a consequence of the range being discontinued. One of the main reasons for my slow deliberations is that ideally...

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

My main dilemma now is should I pull the trigger on a SLC 10x42 or wait for the SF 10x32. I know the SLC is a no brainer just curious as to whether there would be negatives on the SF against the SLC?

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

I couldn’t agree more about the HT’s Ed. I’m also so glad I got one before they were discontinued. I don’t think I have ever looked through a clearer binocular.

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

I’m very tempted to do likewise and make a quick purchase of the SLC10x42. I think it unlikely that Swarovski will produce a better 10x42 for the money. If I could get a similar quality 10x32 for the money I may be tempted but in reality I think the 10x42 option is better than 10x32 in this...

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

It’s the SLC 10x42 I’m worried about. One of the best 10x out there. Maybe they’ll produce an exciting alternative

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

I imagine the existing stock will clear pretty quickly once news gets out. End of an era in some respects. Let’s hope Swarovski surprise us......

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

I’m hoping there will indeed be an improved replacement range but no news on that front from my source. Mind you Swarovski are good at keeping their cards close to their chests until they launch any new product. Let’s see.....

SLC range to be discontinued by Swarovski!

I've just heard from a very reputable source that Swarovski are to discontinue the SLC range of binoculars. Apparently, they will no longer be manufactured after existing stock has been sold. If so, I can only imagine this will come as a shock and disappointment to many. Clearly, this is in...
