    Mark, According to the latest field guide published this year: - Citrine Wagtail has been recorded from Tenerife and Lanzarote - Squacco Heron is a passage migrant recorded on all islands other than El Hierro Stephen

    How about the Canary Islands as a whole. I am visiting four of them in October so would be good to know. I know it isn't answering Mark's question but when I stayed at Los Cancajos in La Palma you could watch Little Shearwaters from the balcony every evening... Stephen
