    Up until yesterday I was enjoying a string of 100+ catches, unusual here. Nothing mega but a Rusty-dot Pearl on the 9th was the first I have had locally (Cornwall and Jersey previously).     A new one for my garden today, the migrant micro Rusty-dot Pearl (Udea ferruginalis). Also a Silver Y, and yesterday I had my third Vestal of the year. So a few migrants making it to deepest Leicestershire.

    September Moths

    Quite a good night weather-wise here but just a modest catch, 54 of 20. Significant for me were three NFY: my latest ever Argyresthia goedartella, my first Burnished Brass for four years (also my latest record) and a Centre-barred Sallow. Only Large YU in double figures, 14.
