    Am I missing out?

    Hello Arthur, I'm a little late in qualifying this, but the objective spacing on many A-K binoculars is less a problem than a necessity. The barrel diameter on most medium-sized binoculars is about 12 mm larger than the aperture, so 56 mm objectives without the offset would have a minimum IPD...
