    New Nikon 180-400mm f4 with built in 1.4 teleconverter

    Mostly for pro sports-shooters I guess. But might be quite useful shooting wildlife from hides where a fixed camera/lens position is mandatory. More flexible framing is underestimated. But if you have a D850, use a 300mm/2.8 and crop will take care of the rest..

    Canon rip-off...o:) Quite remarkable is that the lens has 27 elements + another 8 in the TC. Thats a lot of glass! Only 2 m close focus limit is pretty good but 3.5 kg won't make it easy to use without tripod. I suspect that it will be a bit sharper than the 200-500/5.6, but probably not...
