    I would stay away from the older Conquests, the new models handle issues like CA (for those sensitive to it) much better than the previous models. Transmission was low in relation to the new models. Save money and move on.

    I have also observed this phenomenon also with the SF 8X42/10X42, and I do not wear glasses, I have other premium glass (many), including the FL, and never observed this with any of them. It (SFX42)just never worked for me, and I tried multiple samples. Not all glass will work with everyone...

    The online dealers likely have to provide the service on returns, or they lose out to the competition. The purchaser has to be aware of getting something described as new from an online seller may show evidence of being used. This issue is not going away, and it goes for many other things...

    Yes the Tract 10X42 is an excellent glass for the $$, I hope they will improve on the 8X42, and am curious about the 12.5X50. I do not have any Conquest glass.

    Sorry but I cannot agree with the outdoor lab review, subjective opinion. These reviews are subjective, some folks might have preferred the Hg over the Conquest so it does not really say ....anything, except ones opinion.
