    It's the Gitzo 3530S with a Kirk BH-1 ball head and Wimberley Sidekick. I've since gotten the full Wimberley head and I love it!

    I'd suggest that if you're going to spend thousands on a lens, that you don't skimp on the support. Doesn't mean you have to spend top dollar, but I wouldn't go for low-end budget models either.
