Age of my zeiss?
The left photo below shows the interior of a 10x50 Oberkochen that was professionally cleaned about 5 years years ago. The light source is from a flashlight shining through the eyepiece from the upper right. The right photo shows the same view through an 8x50 B I bought a couple of years ago...- henry link

Age of my zeiss?
It isn't that old. It's the first version of the West German Zeiss 8x30B with a late serial number from maybe around 1970-71. Hopefully Gary will notice this thread and provide an exact date. The post below discusses the two versions and their serial numbers...- henry link
