    The HT, T*FL, and Kowa Genesis handle CA better than any other binoculars I've handled. The EDG would be the next tier under that, and the SV and Ultravid HD would be the next tier under that. Of all the SVs great optical properties, I would argue that control of CA was just slightly above...

    I guess I'd be a D - buy a bunch of binoculars in different price ranges and determine what I think is the best price:performance value, and keep that one.

    The only company I've had better experience with than Swarovski is Vortex - they will literally repair/replace any pair of binoculars damaged for any reason, no questions asked.

    I found the colors and ergonomics of the EDG to be to my liking, as well as the focus. The SF was a nice binocular but I did not prefer it to the HT, EDG, or SV.

    Hi Gijs, Have you done transmission tests on the EDG? I've found your results relatively similar to the Allbinos results, but Dennis makes a valid point - having a larger sample size of measurements is always helpful.

    Did not own one but extensively tried one in the field with a friend. Honestly, the 8x32 is my favorite binocular, I believe. Very good, neutral colors, a mostly flat field, and very good control of CA. The central view is as sharp as I have seen, and control edge deterioration is better than...
