    Contact lenses' ...why not just have them implanted in your eyes or brain? ... walking field guides always 'on you'... jim

    I can just see birding in the future....we will have our 'phones' of course as what else is needed in many cases? We will have cameras (much like Swaro's digital binoculars) installed on our phones as an accessory. We will have our wireless Apple Earbuds in our heads and have our birding app...

    Is a 'field guide' a pocket book that you can take into the field, or....more a bible that sits on the shelf? Or ...is your thinking of a field guide more akin to being on the Internet, making it more a 'birding resource' than a field guide? jim
