    The motor racing (and cycling) won out so I didn't go birding. Thankfully the garden provided a number of birds of interest, so the birds came to me rather than the other way round for a change.

    No Wren this morning. Instead he sent his minions to wake me up early this morning, namely my two cats shouting outside the bedroom door and a squadron of Rose-Ringed Parakeets shouting and squeaking on numerous fly-pasts. But once again I win as I managed to sleep through till around 9am.
