    Which Spreadwing? Bulgaria

    I think you can eliminate Lestes barbarus (the monocoloured pterostigmas), L.dryas (not chunky enough), L.macrostigma (too late). In the very few pictures I have of Lestes virens the upper appendages are dark so perhaps that just leaves you with the Chalcolestes pair.
