    What Month(s) do you Birdwatch less?

    Is there any field of wildlife watching to supplement birding over the winter ? There are a few for the summer months, such as wild flowers, insects. All I can think of possibly, over winter, is fungi, which I find incredibly difficult.

    If I can only get out two months, I'd choose September and October for migration and hoping to find something out of the ordinary. I find Spring here is very tough.
