    American Pipit? - USA, California, Monterey

    In my experience winter Audubon's and Myrtles can both have quite dull throats. The pale throat extending around toward the nape (contrasting with the auriculars) and presence of a small eyeline are better marks for Myrtle, but many birds, perhaps this one, can't be reliably called as Myrtle or...

    American Pipit? - USA, California, Monterey

    Certainly a Yellow-rumped Warbler, I am not sure I would call it as the Myrtle form from this picture. Myrtles usually show more of an eyeline than does this bird.
