    EII's or SE's better?

    Dennis, the larger aperture of the 8x42 LX L does pull in more light than the smaller 8x30E II can, but that extra light cannot enter your eye because your pupils are constricted during bright daylight hours. At night when your pupils dilate in the darker conditions all of the extra light...
