I really don't know on the contest? I was just making a point that i haven't seen the bin so don't really have a preference! Either way i probably will have a good wait to see them! At this time 10x is more appealing, i don't have that format anymore! But i won't complain one way or the other...

Really don't have a preference one way or the other! Haven't seen either so can't make a choice? If that makes sense? Either way 10's for tripod use does make more sense for me at this time but, i wouldn't shy away from the 8's!!! :-) Bryce...

I wonder how many were ordered sight unseen??? Then how many after the beta's were released for review? The only ones i have seen reviewed are by our regulars??? Any body else receive beta's for reviews??? I haven't found anything on the net??? I guess curiosity killed the cat!!! Bryce...

Yes, it's understated looks are appealing. The H design looks very comfortable and i agree on the position of the strap lugs! The only nitpick from looking at the pictures is the ZR logo on the tripod socket which is an easy fix for a sharpy! They look like they should be balanced very well?

Agreed, and sound advice! I for one am really looking forward to this binocular! I acctually don't mind a little wait. Just knowing that ZenRay is taking it's time to produce a quality product says alot! :-) I truly hope it blows us all away!!!
