    This certainly does happen and is nothing to worry about, unless you swap with others a lot and like to reset quickly to your known value, and even then you can remember what that is for this model. My BN 32s were a bit off for years, with my setting reading slightly "+" instead of my usual "-"...

    I've wondered about this at times as a potential problem, and Mike might want to consider it. Such a nice strong click back in... with no detents to hold the setting in place, as on Swaros.

    Shallow DOF should actually help when adjusting the diopter. I can see how a suboptimal setting could detract from "ease of view", but have no such problem with my SLC 15x56, and wouldn't say it's typical of high-powered bins.
