Hi
At the standing hide, Hill Croft Reserve, Malvern, UK. Great morning watching kestrels hunting. There were at least 12 - I think mostly juvenille males.
What surprised me was they often sat on dead dock flowers and dropped down onto the prey from there. Is this usual behaviour? They also spent a lot of time on the ground - is this usual?
Thanks Julie
