Hi,

Please help me ID these birds from Uganda taken on Feb 2019

1 terrible photo but maybe a Crowned Lapwing?
2 maybe a yellow billed kite?
3 4 5 weavers?

Hi Avi,
Not too hot on African birds, but #2 is a Yellow-billed Kite for sure, and #4-5 are some sort of small finch and not weavers, not sure what occurs out there though.

4 & 5 Bronze Munias (or Mannikins)
Leave the weavers as no book to hand!!

11 some masked weaver?

8 A Vulture with an all white body, Birds of E Africa doesn't show this feature, but White-backed looks the best option
9 looks good for Arrow-marked Babbler
is 12 a Drongo?

Agree first 2. For 3, suggest female Holub's golden Weaver despite the pale lower mandible (?should be / more usually black). 4 black - headed Weaver. 5 is definitely a starling. Suggest immature ruppell's (long - tailed /glossy) starling because: other birds you've posted are open country species, appears to have pale eye, strong hind claw, perhaps the commonest option. The apparent brown tail feather is an artefact, I think. But not super confident about this one

Ruppell's Starling is correct

Weavers are Village and Holub's indeed.
