Hi,

I took picture of this bird at Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge in Angleton, TX (southeast of Houston).

What is it? Stilted Sandpiper? The bill seems rather thin though .. it was by itself (not in a flock of its own kind), but near a few smaller peeps.

Phalaropes often feed while swimming in circles. Wilson's does more foraging on foot than Red-necked or Red Phalarope.
