Common Sandpiper? (1 Viewer)

Dear Members and bird watchers

I was chasing this bird down the water front in Djibouti. It was 5 o´clock in the evening and it was getting dark. Sun was very low.

I identified this bird as a Common Sandpiper because of the white "triangel" between the neck and the wing

It might be because of the late day, but I think the Sandpiper is looking very dark. I have put down the bird as a Common Sandpiper, am I right?

Kind regards
Aladdin
