I took a trip to Bantam Lake in Connecticut today. Even though everything is frozen here, a small part of the lake stays open. The Bantam River flows through, plus Geese and Duck movement keep it open. I landed up seeing Mute Swans, Ring-neck Ducks, 4 Wood Ducks, a lot of Mallards, Canada Geese, and a few American Coots. Weather was pretty good.
