Just wondering if this is a male or female

Taken today - Dodder River - Dublin Ireland

Not sexable on plumage. If you can get detailed measurements, males are usually larger than females, but this isn't obvious in the field (or in the river!).
 
btw i think there is a distinct Irish species or sub Species called Cinclus cinclus hibernicus- not that that changes sex the ID issue
