Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Sparrow/Passerine (1 Viewer)

First, I just want to say hi forum! It's my first post. This looks like a cool place. I am a somewhat experienced birder with about nearly 500 species seen so far around the world.

I found this bird last year in August, 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. My weakness is sparrow identification and I think it is a Sparrow. Seems like it could be a juvenile. The breast streaks seem too fine to be song sparrow. It does not look too much like any one sparrow in the Sibley guide. I got frustrated with it and gave up but then I found this forum. Is this a lost cause?
