Saw this bird today, it is new to me. my first time seeing it.. I couldn't get a good clear picture, this bird was quick.. It was about the size of an American Robin.. I am curious at least what type of bird it may be if an exact id can't be made..

Looks like a Brown Thrasher to me.

Thank you... i looked up photos of the brown thrasher and that does look like what it was... Do they eat seed? Thanks so much..

Im pretty sure they eat insects they grab while foraging through leaves on the ground, but not seeds

very pretty... the color is amazing on this bird.. not the same brown color i usually see..
