Redpoll - feeding tips? (1 Viewer)

The key reason why I joined this forum is because yesterday I saw a bird in my garden that I have never seen before. Thanks to a pic by gophish in the gallery I now know this to be a common redpoll! :t:

Any tips as to what kind of food and what type of feeder is best for those birds? (just in case he/she is coming back!)

Many thanks,

David

Hi, last two winters its been nyger all the way in my garden, but this year they have started eating the sunflower hearts which is good for me as they are much closer to the house and you get a good view.
