May I ask you about this bright spot on this Purple Sunbird?
It's a first time I've seen it. I couldn't find any photo on books.

I had the same reflection with a Palestine Sunbird and that red spot that is not on the books. photographed in Oman in January ;-)

I had the opposite experience of wondering where the orange tuft was, back when it was called Orange-tufted Sunbird in the field guide at the time
