Field Guide (1 Viewer)

Which field guide would folk recommend for Nepal?

Is the Grimmett & Inskipp Nepal guide better than the new Grimmett & Inskipp Guide to the Indian Subcontinent?

Any other suggestions?

And the answer is - a bit of both!

The Nepal guide is very handy in the pocket and covers most species competently. the new Indian SC guide is much more comprehensive and includes most recent splits, so is consequently more accurate and useful. It is however quite large and heavy so isn't as easy to carry around.

If I revisited Nepal then I would probably take both.
