Hello to you all. Like Doug, I've revived my childhood hobby. I'm from Hampshire in UK - halfway between Portsmouth and Guildford. Phil.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Hi Philip and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hi Philip, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Hi Philip. Glad you joined us. You live in a great part of the country with the New Forest and the Dorset heaths so close and great birds, flowers, butterflies and dragonflies all pretty much on your doorstep.

Lee

Welcome to BirdForum from another Hampshire Hog! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.

And another welcome from Hampshire too (but a tad closer to Pompey) You mention a revival of a childhood interest, depending on your age, you might find some different birds here now, Red Kites for a start.
