Ni hao All,

Greetings from Douliou,Taiwan. You may not find the place on the map,but the Fairy Pitta knows how to get here.Douliou is a small town in Yunlin County, Southern West-Central Taiwan. It's about the best place to go to see a Fairy Pitta(summer). There is some really good low and mid altitude forest in the area, which is home to Black-naped Blue Monarch,Yuhinas,Scimitar Babblers,Drongos,Minivets,Grey Treepie and many other S.E.Asian forest birds.Yunlin County also has two good coastal wetlands which sees some interesting birds like Black-faced Spoonbill and the Oriental Stork showing up from time to time.

Cheers

Mark
