Grebe of some kind? Eastern Ontario, Canada (1 Viewer)

Apologies for the low quality photo, but this little guy caught me without the long lens and the light was dimming at sundown. I think this is a grebe of some kind, but not at all sure about that, and if it is, I have no idea what kind of grebe. Is there enough detail in the photo for an ID?
