Harrier sp., Hong Kong

Any thoughts on this harrier photographed last weekend on my San Tin patch in Hong Kong would be most appreciated. At the time I thought it was Pied, but any further insight would be most welcome.

It looks fine for Pied to me. What is it that has made you think otherwise?

Never seen the banded tail before, and it was a bit broader-winged than I expected John.
