Assuming this is a UK species then a fence post jumper, Marpissa muscosa. It looks to be on a fence post appropriately.
But if it was outside the UK then I don't know

Saw my first a few days ago on a wooden fascia next to wooden fence pots in Ruislip. Handsome spider.
