Talking of Gulls...
a pair of Herring Gulls "nest" on my neighbours chimney stack . This has been their favoured spot for years. A single egg seems to be all they produce - presumably there's no room for more! The chick then spends it's early life precariously wandering up and down on the ridge tiles, in all weathers until they take their first foray in to the air! :eek!:
