Hi all, Hill Court Farm and the Blacklands, Malvern, UK.

I am relatively new to butterflies. At first I thought they were female common blues, but they have a double spot - so are they brown argus?

Thanks J

They are Brown Argus- no fore-wing cell spot (though occasionally lacking in Common Blue) + the : mark by the costa on the hind-wing.
